Q: Can I place the Sticky Add to Cart Bar on the homepage?
A: The Sticky Add to Cart Bar currently only works on the product pages of the store due to the following reasons:
- The button needs a specific product. On product pages, the system knows which product to add. On the homepage, multiple products are shown, so the button wouldn’t know which one to add.
- Shopify’s default setup. Shopify’s homepage is a landing page, while product pages are designed for transactions, making the app work better there.
- To avoid confusion. A Sticky Add to Cart Bar on the homepage might confuse customers if it’s unclear which product they’re adding to the cart.

Make sure you’re viewing a product page.
The Sticky Add to Cart Bar only works on product pages. It won’t appear on other pages like collections or the homepage.
Verify your Sticky Add to Cart Bar settings.
Review the following settings to ensure the Sticky Add to Cart Bar is configured correctly:
Mobile/Desktop Visibility: Ensure the bar is enabled for both mobile and desktop, according to your plan.
Display Timing: Choose whether the bar should appear immediately or after the user scrolls. This setting controls how the bar interacts with the user’s actions on the page.

The Sticky Add to Cart Bar relies on the main 'Add to Cart' button on your product page. If the button is missing or has been modified by a third-party app, the Sticky Add to Cart Bar may not show up.
